“Smugglers Loft is every bit as lovely as the photos show. It’s a beautiful place in a brilliant location – ideal for exploring the New Forest. David was a perfect host and always replied very promptly to queries. Check in was easy and smooth and the place was spotless. Particularly good for us were the availability of a travel cot as we were travelling with our young baby. Loved the window seat too. We very much hope to return!”

“We felt lucky to have stumbled across this lovely apartment and the lovely town of Lymington. As soon as we arrived we arranged to stay an extra couple of nights. The place was very clean and bright. It is located in the centre of town but the car parking was easy for unloading luggage and quite close for long term parking. Our two girls enjoyed looking out on the High Street and calling out to anyone who would listen! It also felt very secure and we didn’t have any issues with noise at all. One of our favourite things was to just walk down stairs to a variety of excellent coffee shops every morning. Thanks for having us David and thanks for your top tips on where to go- we followed them all!”

We loved the apartment from the minute we arrived to the minute we left and had a thoroughly relaxing break. David was a very attentive host and was easily contactable and was really helpful. I now want to live in Lymington!”

“It was great to stay at this delightful apartment in such a central position. It is really more like a ‘second home’ than a ‘holiday rental’ as it is well furnished (great beds/linen) and ideal for a couple or small family. We are regular visitors to Lymington as we have several friends in the area and we have stayed at various hotels/apartments and for us ‘Smugglers’ is the perfect choice , next time we might try Sailmakers Cottage which is also owned by David & Claire, just for a change. Our hosts were great and the apartment was nice and clean and David communicated with us during the booking and upon arrival. The property is priced accordingly considering quality/location but for like most things you get what you pay for. We had several meals out in Lymington and enjoyed them all. A little further afield we had lunch at The Kitchen, Chewton Glen which is worth a trip out. Thoroughly recommend Smugglers and Look forward to returning!”

“We stayed, 2 adults/2 small children for a long weekend and were delighted with Smugglers Loft. The apartment is in a great location on Lymington High Street, a stones throw from shops, cafes and the quay. The apartment itself is lovely, very clean, nice linen and very attractive so we were happy with our choice. The apartments bay window looks out over the high street & we all enjoyed being throughly nosey! We mostly ate out but the accommodation has every utensil & cleaning product you would need. Parking was a doddle with options to either park right outside or in a main car park about 10 seconds away. We used the apartment as a base for exploring the New Forest and also trips to Paultons Park (25mins), and Mudeford Beach (25mins). Overall, a fantastic stay and I hope we return on another occasion. Thank you.”
